Background
Elhani Maritime (Black Sea) SRL was established on 26 September 1996 in Romania by its present General Manager & Sole Shareholder, Mr. Hani Elie Zaroubi, a 1988 graduate of Boston University (College of Engineering), and the son of a highly respected ship owner figure in the shipping industry, the late Mr. Elie H. Zaroubi (1921-2005).
Since its foundation, the company has always been eager to establish strong business relationships worldwide. Its priorities always included possible associations with well, experienced, reliable, and creative partners in the Black Sea & east Mediterranean region to develop further business in other trades and enlarge its participation on new and profitable markets.
From this vision, the sister company Elhani Maritime (Middle East) SARL was established two weeks later in the East Mediterranean region, and since then both privately owned companies became known as Elhani Maritime Group.
