Ship Agency
Ship agency is the oldest and most important activity in our Group's list of services. Elhani Maritime gained a good reputation for efficiently handling all vessels calling under its agency for any operation. Our agency department highly experienced staff attend the loading / discharge operations of all kinds of cargoes and handle all types of commercial ships from coaster, handy to panamax sized vessels especially general cargo ships, tankers, and bulk / cement carriers. They also work in close cooperation with port custom authorities to expedite the delivery / export of cargoes upon vessel's discharge / loading. Elhani Maritime agency clients receive first class attention and are always informed of their vessels' schedules / movements / operations.
In May 1999, one of our major clients that run an agency management of more than 400 leisure and commercial vessels awarded Elhani Maritime an agency contract for all its vessels calling Romania. From that instance, the agency department stretched out its activities and included a division that handles passenger vessels, cruise liners, and pleasure yachts. One of the World's most luxurious yachts called Constantza port in October 2008 under Elhani Maritime agency.
During the last boom period of the Romanian cement export, our agency department exclusively handled the operations of all vessels, operated / chartered by another major client, that loaded about 1.5 million tons of bulk cement from Constantza and Agigea ports for Alexandria, Damietta, Oran, and Algiers discharge in a period of less than four years.
